The Tampa Bay Street Medicine Project (TBSM) is a USF Health Morsani College of Medicine student-run service organization

Since our founding in 2014 by a group of medical students, our leadership has evolved across multiple disciplines, spanning 6 organizational branches and 4 service branches. From Care Clinic to Street Run, our students, faculty, and volunteers continue to build trusting, longitudinal relationships with our unique patient populations. Over the years, our mission has always remained the same- to fill crucial healthcare gaps in the Tampa Bay Area.
Keri Allen, Tampa Bay Street Medicine President

Mission

Tampa Bay Street Medicine is a student organization at USF Health dedicated to improving the health of vulnerable populations in our community.
Through outreach on the streets and in local shelters, and via TBSM-run free clinics, we seek to provide medical care, education, and community connections to the unhoused, unsheltered, and those within 200% of the poverty limit in the Tampa Bay Area.

Programming

TBSM provides free health services through its Street Runs, Continuity Clinic, and Care Clinic. Additional programming is pursued on a project-by-project basis.

Partners

TBSM’s programming would not be possible without our partnership with First Presbyterian ChurchCatholic Charities Tampa Hope, and Pioneer Medical Foundation.
