Residents are encouraged to become involved in academic clinical research projects with faculty at all affiliate sites. These are usually done in collaboration with radiology faculty members. When the resident presents research in the form of abstracts, papers, or exhibits at national meetings, the resident receives additional leave time as well as monetary support for the presentation.  Current research focuses include 3D Printing, fMRI, mathematical modeling of cancers, AI, and Theranostics.
